October 3 - Rotary Road Trip
IT’S FAIR TIME!   Again this year, we will head out on a Rotary Road Trip to the Fairfield County Fairgrounds for our annual Fair Preview.  Join us as we learn about plans for the best county fair in the State of Ohio!
Join us for New Member Introductions.  We have several new members who will tell us about themselves and why they are a part of Rotary.
Manufacturing remains an important industry in Fairfield County.  Jennifer Johns Friel (past winner of the Rotary Ethics Award) from Midwest Fabricating will be with us to discuss the current manufacturing climate, challenges, and some of the great advancements being made right here in our own backyard.
Lancaster and Fairfield County are fortunate to have so many great not-for-profit organizations working in our community.  Coordinating between so many organizations, though, can be a challenge.  The United Way of Fairfield County has recently launched a new website that helps not-for-profit organizations publicize opportunities and recruit volunteers.  Sherry Orlando and Scott Spangler will join us to discuss this new initiative.
Ethical business practices are vital to overall business success, and those ethical practices are important to the customers and communities that support businesses with their dollars.  Join us for our annual Rotary Ethics Award presentation.  The winner of this year’s award will be announced as Rotary continues to advocate and celebrate sound ethical business practices.
